House is in good shape inside. Outside structurally is in great shape but the singles are really ugly. This is a deterrent and makes the house look very crappy. For buy and hold I would just clean the inside, and that's it. For a flip, I would refinish the cabinets, put stainless steel appliances. We have consulted our agent to see if we would need to put granite in. The answer was, if the countertop cleans up nicely and you put stainless steel appliances in, you could get away with no granite. I would personally make sure the kitchen and bathrooms are the best they could possibly be, and thus I would put granite in.
